I stare at my shadow
As it stands in complete stillness
Is it really me or someone else being reflected
A Ghost of my past
A figure from my other life
I wonder why is it still
Unwavering yet scared
Alone and lonely
Like a child who craves a hug
The feel of a caring touch
It stares back at me
Like it awaits a response
To say it’s ok
The pain is gone
The storm has passed
But has left a calm
As I see the shining stars
Darkness peeks through
But only to suggest peek a boo
This time I missed you!

The desire to be felt and touched
The wish to be heard and seen
The passion to become and be

The curiosity to discover the world around
The eagerness to unveil the universe that surrounds
The dream to uncover and reveal
The fantasy to love, to feel

The hope to fly in the limitless sky
The ambition to reach a new high
The absurdity to seize a moment
The lunacy to epitomize future like a poet

The esctacy to live while subsisting
The warmth to feel peace when conflicting
To live and let live and to be extant
The thirst to find love before I extinct!

Jun 10, 2020 When the struggles vanished and the challenges disappeared You stood strong, holding up the sphere You stayed true to your belief Whether or not life offered relief Battles were real, but it was your journey all along Creation or destruction, it had a rhythm of a song Footsteps you took, the choices you made Were yours to claim, it was your fate Life has been a valley and at times a mountain to climb You went to the depth and claimed the height You conquered the peaks and swam through the tides To come out stronger, the zest to stay alive You made it no matter how tough it became You fought with blood and tears, with friends and dears; all in the name of the game Victorious you stood, holding the flame You achieved what people thought was impossible No matter the traumas or the struggles Here you are, still standing strong and true With all you have been through As a precedent , to believe in yourself and push through To prove nothing can bring you down If you don’t want it to!

Circle of Life

Trees shed their yellowed leaves To get some new While most fall apart Some leaves stick through In hopes of getting past the fall Stay United and face it all But the strong winds waver their zeal So their fate gets sealed They cave in and fall with the breeze Dropping to the ground Meeting the other fallen leaves Only to discover they have lost Their color and glow Sitting lifeless and letting go Little shards of life left in them Their courage finally caving in Wishing they had stayed forever green And their fate today might have not been They look up the tree and wonder How wonderful it would be ; if we could remain together But one had to fall to give other a new start That’s the rule of life; some call it an art The branches now can start anew Hoping new leaves will always cling through….

When the darkness descents Enlightenment begins For everything that dies Something new comes alive The darkness sustains But the light prevails Peeking through the tiniest gap Speeding through the vaccum eventually consuming the darkness The dim glimmer that beckons Hope and courage To believe and conquer Whatever it may take Never letting the pain sucking you in Fighting till your last breath Against the power That compels you to give up Holding strong Despite the destruction That promises to destroy your core Going to the darkest spots Only to come back empowered And will like steel To repeat until you perish

Rise And Fall

I turn to gold And then i fall Only to rise again And winds sway me alive I stun with my beauty Then succumb to mutation The descend is ethereal But the dominance surreal Such is the circle of life Vicious and unforgiving It advances nevertheless Whether there is dismay or delight So sprout with glamour Come what may Rise or fall Let it be all radiant No matter how dark Never loose your shine

Broken: Part II

I am Broken on the inside and broken out Reminiscing the wounds that I can no longer live without I smile fighting the demons That leave me struggling to breathe Pulling the ground from underneath my feet Reminding me of the scars in my mind The Marks on my bones And Scratches on my heart That life has left me; like a beautiful art My heart bleeds with pain and aches with dispair Only if life had been fair! My eyes stare in an endless void They go too far and come back devoid Clear of any emotions, gazing through the dark Seeing through the images failing to leave a mark Everything appears grey Making black and white the only colors to sustain I am white washed into a faint echo of me In the reflection, I no longer see me A mere structure with life sucked out of it Hollow frame of a human : broken!

Something is broken inside me a piece a part or it’s just me It feels like I live my life without a heart or a heart without a heartbeat lips without a smile eyes without a glare high life but not yet living in a trance like you’re asleep Hiding my pain from the world I smile Strong on the surface, underneath volatile Broken heart with a ripped soul Noise you hear in the loudest whisper The quiet you hear in the loudest lull The pain you feel when you are completely numb The tingling you feel in the sharpest snub The ache in the heart that curves your lips The joy that brings a meltdown The mystery that solves itself And the simplicity that makes you ponder The eyes that are glazed with dryness The tears moist with the void A wandering soul in search of nothing A heart painfully contained A life to live with glorious failures A journey of a few steps in disdain A heart ripped with willful ignorance A broken soul; crumbling in pain

Living in a trance as if life is a dream
Yet being curiously aware
As you watch the world around you evolve
Unaware of your part
Living in the deep yet floating around
You are there but not
You are aware but not
Without being beckoned to this perishing world
Blissful in oblivion
